Alby vs Bianca
Alby and Bianca are two cyclones that hit Australia causing some damage to property and to life as well. They are two separate cyclones with differences between them. Alby hits South-West Australia. Bianca on the other hand is a tropical cyclone that moves south.
Alby is a rare kind of cyclone characterized by hot, dry gale force winds. It is interesting to note that Alby gives rise to fire too at some locations. Bianca on the other hand decreases its intensity as it starts moving closer towards the colder regions. This is one of the major differences between Alby and Bianca.
Alby cyclone can cause major damage to life and property whereas Bianca does not cause much of damage to life and property. Alby can cause damage even to strongly constructed buildings. On the other hand such buildings can withstand the attack of Bianca cyclone.
One of the primary differences between Alby and Bianca is that the strength of the Alby cyclone is greater than the wind strength of the Bianca cyclone. The decrease in the wind strength may be due to the fact that it is eating its way down when it passes through a high pressure zone. Its passing though the high pressure ridge may be the cause for its decrease in wind strength.
Weather experts found one important similarity between Alby and Bianca form cyclones that often hit Australia. The similarity is associated with their positions. It is considered that Alby cyclone is positioned facing south.
Bianca too is perched in the same position as Alby. The experts say that the similarity ends there. There are many differences between the two as mentioned above. It should be noted that Alby once caused the death of five people too. It is important to know that as many as 14 types of cyclones hit the southern part of Australia in the past.
Key Difference – Bacteria vs Cyanobacteria Bacteria and cyanobacteria are prokaryotic microorganisms. Cyanobacteria are the largest bacteria found in aquatic environments. Both groups include unicellular microscopic organisms, and both possess a simple body structure. Cyanobacteria have a characteristic blue-green colour due to its unique pigments. They are referred as blue-green algae too. Some bacteria are able to photosynthesize. But most of the bacteria are heterotrophs. Cyanobacteria are capable of photosynthesizing. The key difference between bacteria and cyanobacteria is that bacteria do not produce free oxygen during their photosynthesis while cyanobacteria are capable of producing free oxygen during the photosynthesis.
